Teachers are the makers of nation. Only a teacher can nourish the wisdom instinct of an individual. Surprising but true, nearly 12.5% of teachers in the United States are in the state of teaching their pupils creationism as a great alternative to Darwin’s Evolution Theory. The striking statistics does not end here. Statistics reveal that only 13.7% classroom hours per annum are actually devoted by the teachers to take classes on general evolutionary processes.

Most of the teachers show their high reluctance about covering human evolution more than 5 hours per year and 17% of the total teacher does not include this topic in their curriculum at all. Ironically, 13% teachers does not bother about including the evolution chapter in their coursework at all and find the biology as a subject is much better without any presence of the chapter on Darwinism and Origin of Species.

More than 25% teachers devote their time to teach their students about intelligent design and creationism and 16% teachers convey the message to their students that God created lives on the surface of earth. The most wearisome fact is that nearly half of the general population believes in this theory. The study was conducted on the basis 939 randomly taken samples of U.S biology teachers by political researchers from Penn State during last spring.

Educational pressure is on continual rise for kids and teenagers and more and more children around the world have become the victim of anxiety, stress and depression just because of excessive educational pressure on them. Education today has become an extremely strenuous activity. Many students from different advanced countries like USA, UK have started to drop down their studies due to excessive pressure.

Taking the above scenario under consideration, the Church of England has published a total of six prayers for the students as well as for teachers so that they become able to effectively deal with educational pressure. It is designed to help students to stay calm while keeping the belief on a Super Power that will take care of their anxiety and help them to deal with adverse consequences.

Students are afraid of the ‘high-stake’ nature of the exam and thus they need a relief from their set of thought processes that exclusively drag them to experience extreme fear and anxiety. In addition, prayers are designed with a belief that students will sense the infinite love of God even during their hard ‘exam’ time, as described by Rev Janina Ainsworth, heading as a Chief Education Officer in the Church of England.

Studying abroad has in the recent times emerged as a popular option among students from all walks of life and the reason beyond a growing number of students opting for it are many ranging from better opportunities available in a foreign country than one’s own to the availability of various other beneficial factors. It is interesting to note that over the years’ one of the most popular destinations recording the highest influx of foreign students from any corner of the world has been recorded in <st1 :place>North America</st1>. Since it is evident that <st1 :place>North America</st1> is the most preferred destination among the foreign students, it is quite natural to determine that there are certain factors which immensely facilitate this continuous inflow of foreign students. <o :p></o>

<o :p> </o>

There is no doubt that the educational facilities and standards of education offered by the countries of the North American continent are definitely enriched and competent and a very significant factor that contributes to their efficient functioning are the functions and purpose of globalization. In purely technical terms, the globalization may be defined as the means or the process with the aid of which the foreign students are able to imbibe different modes of knowledge which would make them capable of absorbing the various skills and awareness necessary in order to face competition in the modern world. The main purpose of shaping the global perspectives of the foreign students is therefore to ensure that the knowledge and skills that are learnt by the foreign students in course of their study in <st1 :place>North America</st1> greatly benefit them and make them capable of facing the pressures in the global arena amidst all forms of shortcomings. It is to be noted here that the range of curriculum and the basic educational format which his practiced in the north American countries is supremely developed, well-acquainted with present scientific and technological discoveries and as a result while studying abroad in north America, the foreign students witness a whole new sphere opening up in front of them, full of opportunities. globalization has in its course brought to the forefront the most renowned features of the third world and the global perspectives explored in the filed of education can play a dominant role in reinstating certain values of the notions of unified national and political justice along with promoting cultural, social and economic progress in both the home countries of the foreign students as well as in the foreign country. <o :p></o>
