Education plays the most important role in shaping the personality and behavioral pattern of an individual and it is during the initial years of receiving education that these qualities are imbibed within the students. There are two main levels of school education which are primary education and secondary education. Primary education refers to the primary levels of education to which the child is exposed to following their stint at play schools and the primary education level continues till the fourth standard. This is followed by the secondary education stage which stretches from the fifth standard to the twelfth standard before the beginning of graduate education. It is necessary to note that the secondary education is imparted through the secondary schools i.e. the middle schools and high school and they comprise the most vital years of education and it is these years of extensive study that will play the most important role in the shaping of the child’s future and in deciding his career as well. The secondary school examination which is taken at the end of the twelfth standard has been regarded to be the most important examination in the whole of school life as it is the key to the gateway of a bright future and the grades so obtained in the secondary school examination will play an important role in deciding which course of study would be more suitable for the student to pursue in future. It is to be noted that since secondary education comprises the most important phase in one’s academic career, only certified and trained academicians are granted the opportunity to impart education among students and there are mainly four academic courses introduced for secondary school examinations.
